PETOSKEY – April 20, 2022 – St. Michael High School (SMHS), Northern Michigan’s only Classical Catholic high school, will host its First Annual Spring Gala, this coming Saturday, April 23 at 5:30pm at the Grand Unity Event Center in Petoskey!
The evening will present the beauty of the faith-filled education offered at SMHS, along with the many talents of its students, and will be capped-off with a keynote address by acclaimed Catholic author Joseph Pearce, who will speak on a topic near and dear to the St. Michael community: “Classical Education and the Wisdom of G. K. Chesterton”.
“Whether in Northern Virginia, or here in Northern Michigan, parents are waking to a realization that today’s public schools do not share their values and are failing to provide educational basics and critical thinking skills to their students. So if you’re looking for a better educational alternative for your teenager, now is the perfect time to get acquainted with St. Michael,” remarked SMHS Headmaster Dr. Richard Brake.
The St. Michael Spring Gala is a fundraising event designed to highlight the school’s full-integration into the Chesterton Schools Network, the fastest growing such network in the country.
