Mr. Kevin Weed
HEADMASTER
Mr. Weed took the helm at St. Michael in June 2024. A career educator, he has served 25 years as a teacher and administrator in public and Catholic schools. He is experienced in the development and implementation of Classical curricula and homeschool partnerships.
Mr. Larry Rudnicki
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Mr. Rudnicki joined our staff in 2018 and has served in many roles since that time, primarily related to Athletics & Communications. He was previously a research engineer at Ford Motor Co. and a consultant to start-ups in the mining & exploration industry.
Mrs. Maartje Nolan
HUMANITIES
Mrs. Nolan has held key roles at St. Michael since 2013 and is very excited to teach Literature, Drama and French this year. She also serves as College and Career Advisor and is the proud mother of two SMHS graduates: Seamus (’20) and Liam (‘22).
Mr. Andrew Moe
HUMANITIES
Mr. Moe taught several subjects at SMHS, while also directing its liturgical programs, from 2014 to 2021, prior to returning to the school in 2022. He has Theology degrees from the Franciscan University & the Augustine Institute, and also serves as a co-director of the Marian Center in Joy Valley.
Mr. Paul Arkison
HUMANITIES
Mr. Arkison is a 30-year veteran social studies and special education teacher who previously taught in the Alanson school system. He has authored a novel set in Medieval Scotland and serves as a go-to Drivers Education Instructor in the area.
Mr. Paul Radatovich
HUMANITIES
Mr. Radatovich taught Humanities at SMHS from 2019-2021 and returned to that role in 2023. He graduated from Franciscan University in 2019 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Philosophy at Holy Apostles College & Seminary. He leads the school’s Pro-Life Club.
Ms. Marti Krusell
MUSIC
Ms. Krusell teaches Vocal Music and Piano and will assist with our instrumental music program. She also leads our Mass Choir. She has served as director of liturgical music in several parishes, including the last ten years at St. Francis Xavier.
Mr. Augustin Zehnder
MUSIC & GEOMETRY
Mr. Zehnder joined our faculty in 2020, teaching Choral and Instrumental Music, as well as science and Geometry classes. He is a highly accomplished violinist and an authority on Classical Catholic education.
Mrs. Mary DeAgostino
EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT
Mrs. DeAgostino has kept the wheels turning and directed traffic at St. Michael since joining our staff in 2019. She is a SFX graduate and has catechized within our diocese for decades. She shares the motto of Sr. Rose Venerini, “Educate to save!” Her dedication to the school is an inspiration to us all!
