The St. Michael High School Drama Department Presents: Cemetery Walk

PETOSKEY – October 21, 2024 – St. Michael High School (SMHS), the only classical high school in Northern Michigan, invites you to its presentation of “Cemetery Walk”, Wednesday, October 30 at St. Michael High School, 2275 Resort Pike Rd., just west of Petoskey. Guided tours will begin at 6:30, 7:00, and 7:30 pm.

“Cemetery Walk” is an experiential drama, reminding us of the The Four Last Things: Death, Judgement, Heaven and Hell, presented through the lives of the Saints. The event is presented by the SMHS Drama department and offers a unique, family-friendly, distinctly Catholic celebration of All Hallows Eve and All Saints Day with a focus on the heavenly and eternal.

Suggested admission is $5 per person or $20 per family with proceeds supporting the SMHS Drama department.

Please dress for the weather, wear comfortable shoes, and bring your flashlights. Enjoy cider, donuts, and fellowship before and/or after each tour.

SMHS Headmaster Mr. Kevin Weed added, “In pursuit of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, we’ll once again sidestep pop culture’s annual celebration of the ghoulish and macabre and, rather, learn from our students as they portray the great Saints of Christendom. We invite you to join us in contemplating our own mortality, gazing toward the awesome and everlasting – that for which we were made by our Father in heaven! Gloria in excelsis Deo!”

SMHS also invites you to its ‘Polish Dinner’ (catered by Polish Kitchen), celebrating St. Pope John Paul II – Saturday, October 26 at 6:00pm at Holy Childhood of Jesus Parish Hall, downtown Harbor Springs. Tickets are $20 per person or $65 per family and can be purchased via stmichaelchesterton.org/upcoming-events/ or by clicking here. For more information on the Polish Dinner, please visit stmichaelchesterton.org/news-releases/.
