Quiz Bowl

Quiz Bowl is a fast-paced “sport of the mind” in which four-player teams compete by answering questions on a wide variety of subjects including: Art, Literature, Math, Science, History, Geography, Politics, and Culture.

In recent years, SMHS teams have faced schools from across the district in monthly tournaments held at North Central Michigan College, where it established itself as an exceptional program by routinely placing at or near the top of the standings in 16 to 18-team tournaments, generally against much larger schools.
