Alpine Skiing
In 2020, St. Michael became, by far, the smallest high school in Michigan to offer its own competitive (and MHSAA) Alpine Ski program – which feature both Boys & Girls teams!
Practices are at Nubs Nob and feature instruction from certified coaches, led by Head Coach Mr. David Kolka.
In 2023, St. Michael senior Wyatt Kolka placed 13th in Giant Slalom at the Division-2 State Finals. The performance earned Wyatt 2nd team All-State honors and marked the first-ever State-qualification by a Guardian skier!
